Our Aim

The school have been started on the invitation of the Bokaro Steel plant Authorities. The school aims at providing liberal education and developing all-round personality of the child so as to enable him or her to achieve excellence in all walks of life; academics and cultural. This is done under the guidance of highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff, who lends helping hands to students to: Cultivate the art of public speaking, acquire manners and etiquettes as demanded of them in a civilized society & instil in them social awareness of problems setting over the country and the right approach to overcome them.

About Us

DAV School, Sector 4, Bokaro Steel City, was established in 1973 by DAV CMC at the insistence of the Arya Samaj of Bokaro Steel City, with magnanimous assistance from Bokaro Steel Limited. The school is managed by the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, through the Regional Director of DAV Public Schools, headquartered at Sector IV, Bokaro Steel City.

Our Affiliation

DAV Schools follow the the course and syllabus of 5+3+3+4 pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. We offer classes from Nursery to XII. At the Senior Secondary level (Classes XI and XII), all three streams—Science, Commerce, and Humanities (with History)—are available.

The medium of instruction is English. Students of Class X appear for the Secondary School Examination, while students of Class XII appear for the Senior School Certificate Examination. These examinations are conducted and monitored by CBSE.
